How to Submit a Deletion Request

    Include your account information Provide the email address and/or phone number associated with your Pro Hauls account so we can locate and verify your identity.

    We process your request You will receive a confirmation email within 5 business days. Full deletion is completed within 30 days of your verified request.

What Gets Deleted

  • Account profile and credentials
  • Name, email address, and phone number
  • Driver license and vehicle information
  • GPS location history
  • Device identifiers and usage data
  • Communication and support history
  • Saved preferences and settings

⚠ Retained As Required by Law

  • Financial transaction records (up to 7 years per IRS/tax requirements)
  • Insurance documentation on file at time of deletion
  • Records required for active disputes or legal proceedings
  • Anonymized, aggregated data not linked to your identity

Third-party processors (Stripe, Twilio, Firebase, AWS) maintain their own data retention policies. Upon account deletion, Pro Hauls will initiate deletion requests with these processors where technically feasible. Please review their respective privacy policies for details.

Can I cancel a deletion request?

Yes. If you change your mind, contact us at support@prohauls.app before deletion is completed and we will cancel the request.

What happens to my pending payouts?

Any pending Carrier Earnings will be processed and paid out before your account is deleted. Do not submit a deletion request if you have active jobs or pending payments.

Will deletion affect my tax records?

Financial transaction records (earnings, payments, 1099 data) are retained for up to 7 years as required by federal and state tax law, even after account deletion. This data is isolated and not used for any other purpose.

Do I need to be logged in to request deletion?

No. Simply email us from the address associated with your account. We do not require you to log in to submit a deletion request.
